World Usability Day
Tomorrow is World Usability Day and this year they are focusing on the impact design has on our world.
I recommend a great book named, ‘Cradle to Cradle: Remaking the Way We Make Things‘ for a look into this concept. I read this as an undergrad as a part of my Eco-Moto research for a Design Anthropology class I took in 2005 and thought it was a very interesting read.
In Dallas, the DFW UPA will be hosting their WUD festivitise at Sabre hosted by this year’s co-chair Brian Sullivan.
In this case being unemployed has its benefits in that I don’t have to ask for time off to go this year!
Hope to see you all there!

Hi there,
Nathan Shedroff, the other co-chair, was also at the event as our kickoff speaker. I recommend that you also read, Design is the Problem by Nathan Shedroff.
Also, Collapse by Jared Diamond is very interesting because it talks about why people choose to collapse their economy, society, and so on. Diamond gives classic and relatively current examples. I highly recommend it.
Thanks for coming,
Brian
