This project was to assist a client in creating a presentation builder that could combine movies, music, and still images to showcase their students’ talents. The problem to be solved centered on how to help the presenters build their own presentations and how to help them move around the system quickly once they mastered it.
This design was a 3 part approach. It provided a simple editor for people who just wanted to get the basics done. A more advanced editor for fine tuning, and a handy widget that was completely customizable for the user to help them get around quickly. It too provided a very simple interface for a beginner, but could be modified over time to be a very extendable navigation tool. There were a few more pieces to this, but these illustrate how the problems were directly addressed.
The final product was built in Director.

- This widget allowed users to navigate the entire system quickly and easily and alleviated the problem in their current system where they had to backtrack several clicks before they could go to other areas. It was not required to navigate the system, but it made it much easier to do once the user learned it.
